What are the 12 Days of Christmas and what does it mean? In Christian theology, the 12 Days of Christmas marks the period between the birth of Jesus and the day the Three Wise Men arrived in Bethlehem. It starts on December 25 and ends on January 5, making it a total of 12 days. In some cultures, January 6 is added as the thirteenth day.
